Cancellation and Refund Policy

This policy explains how we handle cancellation, correction and refund requests for digital code-service orders.

Last updated: September 5, 2026

Your mandatory rights remain unaffected

Nothing in this policy limits a cancellation, refund, conformity or other consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. The rules that apply can depend on your location, the service ordered, when performance began and whether the digital result has been supplied.

1. Price and scope of your order

The service, price, currency and any discount displayed in checkout immediately before payment govern your order. A price shown in an older article, search result or cached page may no longer be current. Any approved refund is based on the amount actually paid for the affected service.

2. Cancellation and withdrawal

Contact us as soon as possible if you want to cancel. If processing has not started, we will assess whether the order can be stopped and refunded. Digital code work may begin shortly after payment and the result cannot be recalled once disclosed.

Where the law requires express consent or an acknowledgement before immediate performance affects a statutory withdrawal right, that right is affected only if the legally required conditions were met. We do not assume that a statutory right has been waived merely because an order was placed.

3. When a refund or other remedy may be available

We will investigate requests including:

  • A duplicate or incorrect charge.
  • An order we decline as unsupported before supplying the result.
  • A paid service that was not supplied.
  • A result that is materially incorrect because of our processing and cannot be corrected within a reasonable time after we verify the submitted identifiers.
  • Any circumstance in which applicable law requires a refund or another remedy.

Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate remedy may be a correction, re-performance, cancellation, partial refund or full refund.

4. Situations that are not normally our processing error

Subject always to mandatory consumer rights, a refund is not normally due solely because:

  • The customer entered an incorrect serial number, VIN, region, unit or map version.
  • The customer selected a different service from the one their unit requires.
  • The supplied information was correct but the unit has a hardware, software, wiring, pairing or installation fault.
  • The customer changed their mind after the digital result was fully supplied, where the law permits that restriction.
  • An email was filtered as spam but can be resent to the supplied address.

These examples do not prevent you from contacting us. We will review the order facts rather than applying an automatic “no refunds” rule.

5. How to request help or a refund

Email [email protected] with your order reference, the email used at checkout, the identifiers submitted and a clear description of the problem. Screenshots or a photo of the unit label may help us check whether the order data and requested service match the unit.

Do not publish payment credentials, identity documents or vehicle documents in a public message. We will request only information reasonably needed to investigate the order.

6. Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment method. Banks, card networks, Stripe, NOWPayments or another agreed payment provider may control when the credit becomes visible. Currency conversion or network fees outside our control may affect the amount displayed by your provider.

7. Payment disputes

Please contact support first so we can investigate promptly. This request does not remove any right you may have to raise a good-faith dispute with your bank, card issuer or payment provider. We may provide accurate order, correspondence and delivery records when responding to a provider inquiry.

8. Authorized use and related terms

Refund requests do not change the requirement that orders concern a vehicle or head unit you own or are authorized to use. See our Terms of Service and Authorized Use & Ownership Verification Policy.
